September 16, 2025 One Ocean rerouted into Nain - the northernmost permanent settlement of the Nunatsiavut region in Newfoundland and Labrador. We did so because of the strong almost hurricane strength weather systems rolling across the Davis Strait. Climate change is making the storms in the Atlantic more intense. Higher ocean temperatures provide more energy, leading to a higher risk of rapid wind intensification.
