While in the GalĆ”pagos, the AtA crew had the opportunity to dive under the blue we are constantly traveling over and appreciate the world below. š Due to converging ocean currents, the GalĆ”pagos waters are a hotspot for biodiversity. Some of the animals we saw on our dive include: white tip reef sharks, green sea turtles, GalĆ”pagos sea lions, eagle rays, eels, and TONS of fish of various species. The expansion of the GalĆ”pagos Marine Reserve marks positive change that has occurred since the 2009/10 AtA expedition. š¦
