We arrived yesterday evening before nightfall, and just before winds shifted and started blowing from the north. We timed our weather window just right and rode a strong current all day, pushing 7 knots under blue skies and calm seas. We are now comfortably docked in Puerto Montt, listening to the northern winds from the safety of the harbor!
It is hard to leave the stunning southern region, but we are glad to be clear of the storm ridden area. Thank you beautiful Chilean fjords- you will be missed dearly.⛵️
