When in Nain…
Nain was a great spot to duck out of the big weather systems passing through. While we were there, engineer Mike fixed our water maker, which had been broken for about a week. We also loaded up on fuel at the dock, using the ferry next to us for some wind protection. We stayed tied to the dock overnight, but strong winds were pushing us hard against it. Thankfully, our kind ferry neighbors tied a line to our midship to help hold us off the wall. Their generosity didn’t stop there—they even let us do some laundry and shared snacks with us! ⛵️
We’re extremely grateful for the protection Nain provided and the people who made it so memorable. 🌎🌊
