Meet Grace Dalton, our onboard lead scientist for the ONE OCEAN expedition! Grace is an undergraduate majoring in Marine Biology at the University of Victoria, and she’s bringing her passion for ocean life and sailing to our team.
This past summer, she worked as a research assistant with BC Whales, studying species like Fin, Humpback, and Orca whales up north. In addition to her love for marine research, Grace is an avid sailor and competes on the varsity sailing team at UVic! She’s also a certified scuba diver and loves snorkeling.
