Shout out to Jennifer Dalton, our Project Director and crew for the Around the Americas expedition. She has spent her life on the water as an avid sailor and windsurfer and dreamed of sailing around the world. Then, she met Mark Schrader and circumnavigated Haida Gwaii on a month-long journey with him. She listened to stories Mark and Herb McCormick told about their first expedition Around the Americas. She was inspired by their bravery and determination to do something to spread the message about the state of the ocean. By the end of their sailing trip, Mark Schrader asked if she would consider joining the ATA team and she knew clearly that she could get the project done. Her passion and hard work have brought this expedition to life! 🌎🌊
